Styling Spring Dresses with Catherines

I hope you all are doing well during this scary and uncertain time we are experiencing. Our world has literally been turned upside down and I know that all of us are doing our best and taking it day by day. I understand that shopping, style and fashion are not a current priority to most, and I truly want you to know that I am sensitive to the content I am creating and sharing. This partnership started prior to the stay-at-home order being put in place here in LA, and I have been in self-quarantine for the past 16 days. I first thing I add to my wardrobe when the spring season hits is a fresh round up of dresses. Usually this time of year I am updating my closet with a festive go-to collection that I can wear to all the fun spring activities on the horizon, but now that we are experiencing a new normal {aka, staying home in our comfy clothes}, I find myself with an even bigger itch to update my closet in hopes that we will be back to our normal lifestyles soon!

I truly love the ease of this Desert Springs Wrap Maxi Dress. It is super lightweight, soft and stretchy. I paired it with the Classic Denim Jacket and Sunset Cove Cat Eye Sunglasses {all from Catherines}, as well as a few of my favorite tan accessories and my every day gold jewelry.

You will be seeing a lot of me in this Classic Denim Jacket. It is one of those timeless must have items you should definitely have in your wardrobe because you can literally throw it on over anything any time of year to finish off your look.

Sizing: In most plus size fashion brands I wear a size 26/28 or 4X, however the Catherines sizing is generous, so I always go for a 24 or 3X, unless there is no stretch, in which case I will size up. I am wearing a 3X in both the maxi dress and the denim jacket, and both of these items are available in sizes 0X-5X.
