Denim Week with Catherines!

My fall fashion wardrobe is always anchored by denim, and since the first day of fall is only a few days away, I have been curating my fall closet in anticipation for the cooler season, so it was perfect timing when my friends at Catherines reached out to me to test drive their Universal Jeans. I chose two different pairs and styled them out in 3 different looks and I am sharing them with you all week!
You guys know I am ALL about creating a smart wardrobe full of well-fitting basics that make daily dress super easy, and allow me to pull in seasonal items that express my style of the moment, so having great jeans that I can style into endless wardrobe combos is a must for me.
Today’s look is 1 of 3, featuring the Black Universal Jeans, which are super soft with a straight leg silhouette. I typically choose a skinnier leg in jeans, but was pleasantly surprised with the fit of these, and I like that they almost look like a trouser, but still have the comfort of denim. They sit higher on the waist {which I love}, so you really feel “locked and loaded” in the mid-section, and they come in petite and tall lengths {I am wearing the 26 Tall}. I like the length of the tall for the fall season, but would probably wear the regular length in spring/summer so they would hit right at my ankle and wear perfectly with sandals.
I created a chic and sleek look that transitions perfectly from day-to-night, and paired these Black Universal Jeans with the Black Suprema 3/4 Sleeve Top, Rosemont Sparkle Kimono, Golden Ridge Necklace and Day Glow Drop Earrings. Its still super warm in LA {its been almost 90 for the past few weeks- UGH}, so the 3/4 sleeve top and lightweight kimono are still cool enough for the transition.
Stay tuned for more Catherines Universal Jeans looks coming up all week!
