My Catherines #DenimDebut

Great fitting denim is essential for our wardrobes, and once your find your go-to style that fits like a glove, you can create endless outfit combinations that will always keep your style looking fresh! I must admit that I am a newbie when it comes to the plus size fashion brand Catherines {Lane Bryant’s sister store}, so I was excited to partner with them on their brand new #DenimDebut campaign and try a few new pairs of denim from their fall collection to share them with you!

A few things you guys probably know about me by now… I LIVE in denim, my style is all about great fit meets comfort with the perfect splash of trend, and I LOVE to layer, so putting these fall looks together was a dream! Chic, easy, wearable and the immaculate Catherines fit keeps it all completely polished! I love the laid back vibe of this Girlfriend Jean and it has quickly become a new favorite of mine! A bit sleeker than your typical boyfriend jean, and chic and easy to wear with a sweater and flats, or dressed up with a bit of shimmer and heels. This cut is technically a “straight leg” style, and has a hidden elastic waist that offers stretch comfort that doesn’t show and slightly distressed details.  I did a half cuff on the jean since I am a taller, but you can also wear these with a full cuff, or no cuff!

No fall wardrobe is complete without a few pair of slim leg jeans that are sleek enough to wear with tall boots!  The Knit Jean has the look of a slim jean with the comfort of a knit legging! Super stretchy and so soft! This cut is a basic go-to that works well for creating a sleek silhouette, especially when wearing more volume on top, like this poncho.
