Lane Bryant LANE GIRL & Spring Style Picks

I am thrilled to announce that I am officially the first Lane Bryant Lane Girl!!! As you know, I have a long history with the iconic plus size brand… working with them as the host of Lane Bryant fashion TV {see the videos here}, and recently hosting their NFL Style Event to kick off Super Bowl XLIX in Phoenix a few weekends ago. The Lane Bryant brand is very near and dear to my heart, as I have been a LONG time customer, and worked for several years as a key holder at the Westside Pavilion store here in LA while I was attending school at FIDM.

All that being said, I am so beyond excited to be featured in the spring magalog as the FIRST LB Lane Girl– a new adventure for the brand, where they are showcasing their “modern muses- the influencers, innovators, bloggers and stylists who inspire them“!

To kick off this fun project I traveled to the company headquarters in Columbus, OH back in November and got an insiders look at all aspects of the brand- from meeting the designers, seeing all the marketing elements being put into place, and of course- getting a first hand look at the designs that are coming for spring and summer.

 I went behind the scenes on the spring look book shoot to hang with plus size models Marquita Pring and Emma Sanders, who are just as gorgeous inside as we know they are outside!

I picked out a few of my favorites and shared my style tips on the pages of the magalog!

Back in LA I styled myself in some of my favorite pieces from the spring Simply Chic collection– playing with some of my favorite fashion silhouettes- a ponte moto jacket, printed jumpsuit, perforated leather jacket, pleated maxi skirt, classic white button down, lace graphic tee, classic jersey blazer, and iconic bootcut jeans.  Items that are wearable, chic, easy to mix and match, that will stand the test of time in my closet, season after season.
