#HereIAm with JCPenney

I am so beyond proud and elated for my friend {and client}, Ashley Nell Tipton, who is doing such big things since her Project Runway Season 14 win. In April she unveiled her partnership with JCPenney, as the brand ambassador for the brand’s new Boutique +, a collection, designed to specifically cater to the plus size customer, being sold online and in over 500 JCP stores. She and the brand also announced at that time, that she would be debuting her own designed collection with JCP Boutique+ for the upcoming fall/holiday seasons. 
In celebration of Ashley’s upcoming collection, I have partnered with JCPenney to share a first look at the #HereIAm campaign video, debuting TODAY at Curvy Con in NYC!

This powerful campaign focuses on body positivity and changing the body conversation on a major platform with a big impact. I love that a powerhouse brand like JCP is willing to use their influence and consumer reach to spread such a positive message and utilize their partnership with Ashley to address this important social issue. The beauty of a campaign like this is that EVERYONE benefits from the message, whether or not they are plus size, and it has a ripple effect to influence all of us to shift our thinking, embrace our bodies as they are TODAY in this very moment, and spread a positive body message to others around us by educating them, changing the way we talk about our bodies {and other people’s bodies}, and most importantly, leading by example.
