{my favorite things} Torrid Curvy Skinny Jeans
August is almost over, and I could not let this denim dedicated month pass me by without celebrating one of my ALL TIME favorite pairs of jeans… the Torrid Curvy Skinny Jean. As we all know, finding that perfect fitting pair of denim is like finding a goldmine! Waist fit, length, amount of stretch, wash, and price point all come in to play, and when these elements align perfectly, you know you have struck gold!
I am 5’11”, so finding a pair of jeans that are long enough for me is frustrating. The Torrid Curvy Skinny Jean comes in a few different washes {including some online exclusives}, and 5 DIFFERENT LENGTHS… {extra short/28″}, {short/30″}, {regular/32″}, {tall/34″}, {extra tall/36″}…. YES!!!! EXTRA TALL!!!! Thank you Torrid! You had me at 36″ inseam!!! I have both the “tall” and “extra tall” lengths and I love them both. I switch it up and wear the “extra tall” when I wear sneakers.
I personally love this Curvy Skinny because it sits a little higher on the waist… just at my belly button. I prefer my pants “Urkel” style. This works best for my “more in the middle” body type as it keeps my mid-section smooth…. no muffin top allowed!!! The opening at the ankle is also very comfortable- not to tight. I can cuff them more a more casual look, or wear them long and sleek.

I seriously have at least 6 pairs of these jeans in my closet, and I am considering shopping the BOGO to stock up for fall. This is a serious problem! What are your favorite places to shop for denim and why do you love them??? Would love to know!

I personally love Delia’s jeans. They come in all the same lengths, have the right of stretch and come in extended sizes. I’ll have to check out Torrid, though!
