{Floral Prints} Plus Size Spring Fashion Trends
The gorgeous LA weather has put a huge smile on my face! I adore this time of year for lots of reasons… sunshine and cool breezes, everything in bloom, and the feeling of growth, change and and longer, brighter days ahead, which definitely effects how I want to dress every day. In the spring season my wardrobe goes lighter and brighter, I go for the open toe sandals, and I find myself being drawn to brighter, happier colors and prints… and of course, LOTS of florals, which are, expectedly, at the forefront of the plus size spring fashion trends this season.
Large-scale, artistic, abstract, blurred watercolor effect florals in bold hues are saturating the scene, as well as those tried and true traditional floral prints that we know and love!
My day-to-day lifestyle usually calls for a casual ensemble. On a typical day I am running around the city, prepping for a shoot, working on set, or jamming from meeting to meeting, so it is essential for me to have a wardrobe full of easy to wear items that I can put together with no fuss.
Who knew a sweatshirt and torn up jeans would be among the biggest fashion trends of the season??? Dressed up activewear and distressed denim are definitely having their moment! Throw in my everyday jewelry and a few neon statement pieces, and I am a happy girl!
sweatshirt with floral print panel / Simply Be USA
distressed skinny jeans / Torrid
neon crossbody / Marc by Marc Jacobs
white pyramid stone ankle strap sandals / Jessica London
gold pave pyramid studs / Michael Kors
neon statement necklace / Bar III for Macy’s
gold watch / Fossil
I seriously adore these sandals!
I am always looking for chic heel alternatives, and these are so cute and comfy!

I love this look! It’s a modernized update of ’90s style, which I love: floral prints and distressed jeans. I could totally see a character on My So-Called Life wearing this look.
