Dreaming of Everything Spring

I hope you all are doing well during this scary and uncertain time we are experiencing. Our world has literally been turned upside down and I know that all of us are doing our best and taking it day by day. I understand that shopping, style and fashion are not a current priority to most, and I truly want you to know that I am sensitive to the content I am creating and sharing. This partnership started prior to the stay-at-home order being put in place here in LA, and I have been in self-quarantine for the past 21 days. My BF took these images with my iPhone in our neighborhood, and I hope it brings you a bit of sunshine, inspiration, and a little bit of refreshing normalcy. Sending you all lots of love!

Day 21 of self-quarantine and a super gloomy, cold, rainy day in LA has me dreaming of warm days filled with sunshine, planning outfits for a weekend getaway {maybe Palm Springs}, and just wearing something cute to meet friends for lunch. That is what I had in mind when I picked this Floral Maxi to share with you as my third look of my spring dress round up with Catherines. To be honest with you, I am not sure what to say or exactly how to navigate through this surreal reality we are all experiencing. I feel silly sharing fashion with you, when all of us are concerned about staying healthy and providing for our families in the coming months. I have just been taking it day by day and using this time to focus my energy on what is smart and healthy for me and my family.

When I chat with you guys on the gram and Facebook, hear you say that you are enjoying seeing new, fresh content that gives you a sense of lightness and normalcy in all the craziness. I truly hope these images bring you some sunshine and brighten your day.

I was drawn to the vibrant, oversized print on this Floral Rush Maxi Dress {I know, I know… florals for spring- groundbreaking!}… but I love freshness of the blues against the white, and more abstract floral print. Also, the ruffle detail on the skirt gives it a subtle sweetness. I layered with a white Embroidered Denim Jacket, which adds an instant crisp finish, and accessorized with a few of my favorite colorful gems and the Sun Valley Sunglasses.

Sizing: I am wearing a size 3X in this dress. I typically wear a size 26/28 or 4X , however the Catherines sizing is generous, so I always go for a 24 or 3X, unless there is no stretch, in which case I will size up to a 26.
