Fall Trend Round Up: Statement Over Pieces

Earlier this week I shared the first trend in my Fall Trend Round Up with Catherines {check it out here if you missed it}, and next up is another trend that you guys see me wear year round… statement over pieces! In the warmer months I love a lightweight printed kimono {you have seen me wear them here and here}, and when the temp cools down, I always go for a warm, cozy layer that I can easily pair with my favorite basics for a chic, polished look {do you guys remember this throwback?}
Lovely in LA and I managed to find a little tiny piece of fall to shoot here in LA so I could showcase this Lenwood Plaid Reversible Ruana, which is super soft and cozy, and reverses to a herringbone print for a whole new look. I paired it with the Suprema Turtleneck and my favorite Catherines Skinny Leg Jeans {currently sold out}, but check out their current selection of jeans HERE. I also added a little print mash up with the Leopard Print Loafers, which I have been wearing non-stop. They are wide width and super comfy!
I will basically be living in this Plaid Ruana all winter long! I already have a few other OOTD’s planned in my head… Im envisioning it belted with a skirt and tall boots, and also with a jumpsuit and some booties. I will definitely be sharing these looks with you!
