Fall Trend Round Up: Plaid
This post is sponsored by Catherines and contains tracking links.
So here we are in the middle of November, and its still super warm in LA (almost 90 degrees this past weekend)! So, while my east coast friends are already bundled up enjoying everything we love about fall, Im still over here on the west coast sucking down iced lattes (actually, lets be honest- thats a year round thing), and cooling off in front of the fan. I have been more than ready for the cooler temps and festive fall fashion for months now, so when my friends at Catherines reached out to me to share some of their new arrivals with you, I chose 3 different fall trends that can be styled perfectly, no matter which coast your on. I will be highlighting each trend this week here on Styled by Reah.
First up, in my fall trend round-up, is my tried and true favorite fall trend… Plaid!
Mount Pleasant A-Line Dress paired with a few of my favorite go-to accessories and my Catherines moto jacket from a few seasons ago {check out their current selection of coats, jackets, and over pieces HERE}…
As you guys know, plaid is one of my favorites, and I have SO much of it in my wardrobe! It is definitely considered a timeless classic print for year round wear, depending on the color palate and type of plaid. Some are definitely more wintery festive and holiday iconic than others, and I was drawn to the dark grey and black anchor with pop of color in this dress, because its a little more subtle chic, and less “in your face” holiday for year round wear. Also, the jersey knit is super soft and stretchy, and the A-Line silhouette is always a go-to for me {and I added a belt to help define my waist}.
What is your favorite way to wear plaid for the fall season {and year round}? I would love to hear… drop me a comment below! More of my Fall Trend Round Up coming up this week!
