Last week I had the opportunity to partner with Joanna Vargas and receive the Triple Crown Facial at her LA salon with her esthetician, Laura. This signature treatment is the trifecta that started it all- first the Diamond Peel Microdermabrasion, which exfoliates on the surface level by removing dead skin via a wand that’s tip has fragmented diamonds. Microdermabrasion creates a literal blank canvas, perfectly prepping the skin for the rest of the treatments and products. Next is the Microcurrent, a sub-sensory application which nearly duplicates electrical currents which your own cells generate. It’s like a workout for your face- smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles, lifting and toning your muscles to define your features for an ageless look. The last step is the Oxygen Treatment, using 98% pure oxygen infused with a supercharged serum to plump, hydrate, and restore your skin’s healthy glow. Laura worked with me every step of the way to assess my skin type and concerns {which for me is primarily redness, dryness and a bit of hormonal breakout}, thoroughly explaining each treatment step, and curating the exact products needed for me to achieve the best results.

Of all the facials I have had over the years, I have never experienced one that left me with such instantly amazing results. The combination of the technology and the products used in Joanna Vargas treatments left me with a drastic difference in my face. Not only was my skin smooth and glowing, but the redness drastically subsided, and my face muscles were remarkably tighter, making me an instant believer! When I left the salon I made a quick stop at the grocery store and two different women approached me separately and complimented me on how great my skin looked {which NEVER happens to me}.
Since I had my treatment {about a week ago}, I have been very diligent in taking care of my skin. I have been concentrating on drinking a lot of water, removing makeup as soon as I get home {before I am too lazy and tired}, and I have changed my skincare routine to exclusive Joanna Vargas products, and my skin is SO happy!
